Frances Fitzgerald, LMSW

Licensed Masters of Social Work

I’m so glad you’re here. I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, people from marginalized communities, and anyone carrying the wounds of religious trauma. Whether you’re navigating identity, healing from spiritual abuse, or confronting the impacts of systemic oppression, I offer care centered in active listening, empathy, and authenticity and rooted in a framework of liberation. I believe that caring for ourselves means caring for our communities and that healing is a radical act of self-care and resistance. Together, we can explore what it means to tend to ourselves, our communities, and our inner worlds.

Therapy with me is collaborative, relational, and trauma-informed. My approach is grounded in emotional embodiment, cultural humility, anti-oppressive practices, and deep respect for lived experience. I believe healing happens not only within ourselves but in relationship—with others, with community, and with the ecosystems that shape our lives.

I would love to accompany you on your journey to liberation. As a social worker under clinical supervision, I offer some sliding scale fees to ensure that healing is accessible to all people. You deserve a space where your whole self is seen, heard, celebrated, and free. Let's journey together.

Frances’ rates for self-pay are $120 a session with some sliding scale availability. She sees individuals 18 and older, and accepts Cigna/Evernorth, Aetna, Meritain, HSA, and private pay.
